Spotlight on Sharon Nachbar

Meet Sharon! Service Center Manager, Summerfield

Tell us about yourself. How long have you worked at CAMPUS? I moved to Marion County from New York with my husband and dog, Latte, six years ago. I have been working for CAMPUS for five years and have over 40 years of various banking experience. My husband and I enjoy learning about the history of Florida and visiting the different parks and recreation areas.

What charitable cause(s) are you passionate about? Currently, I volunteer as an Ambassador for the Lady Lake Chamber, where I help promote local businesses and various organizations. Because of my years in the financial industry, I also feel a responsibility to volunteer at local schools to help promote financial literacy.

Why is volunteering important to you? Volunteering in our community is so important. I have always been a strong supporter of local charitable organizations. I value paying it forward by helping with causes that can make a difference in people’s lives.
